ONCE AGAIN, DEAN BURNETTI LAW DONATES OVER $5,000 TO JOHNS HOPKINS ALL CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

LAKELAND, FL, November 17, 2017 –. Today, Dean Burnetti Law, via its Dean Burnetti Law Charitable Foundation, donated over $5,000.00 to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.  Specifically, the money went to the hospital’s Bereavement Fund.

In August, the firm hosted its Second Annual Golf Tournament to raise the money. The event also featured a raffle with over 40 celebrity autographed photos.  Furthermore, nearly 50 sponsors donated other prizes for the raffle.  Forty hole sponsors also blessed the tournament, while 60 players joined in the fun.

The tournament was a huge success, and netted $5,621.89, all of which was donated this morning. The check presentation ceremony included Dean Burnetti along with Anysia McDowall and Susan Snover from the hospital.

Burnetti is often asked why he chooses to direct his proceeds to the hospital’s Bereavement Fund.  In response, he says, “There’s only one thing harder than watching helplessly while a child fights a savage disease.  That is when that child loses their battle. Too often when this happens, the family’s resources are already tapped.  Worse yet, amid grieving, they must decide which corners to cut.  Likewise, many have to make final decisions that they might make differently if they had an immediate boost in income. For this reason, we want to assist these often overlooked families who must face the difficult and expensive task of burying their child who didn’t make it.”
