Attorney Scott Graul was born in Detroit. After he graduated from Michigan State University, he then interned with the Wayne County Executive’s Office as part of their Press Relations Division. Later, he followed his family to Florida, then attended Florida State University where he graduated in the top twenty-five percent of his class.
His first assignment as a new attorney was working for the State Attorney’s Office in Bartow, where he prosecuted misdemeanors. Eventually, he was promoted to handle a full load of felony cases. He maintained this position for several years.
Next, Scott joined a large personal injury law firm in St. Pete. Just as when he was a prosecutor, being a personal injury attorney allowed him to fight for victims’ rights.
A couple of years later, he started his own firm. He desired to center his focus on fewer clients and give each case the individual attention it deserved. He ran the firm of Graul & Orga, P.A. with attorney Lisa Orga for nearly two years.
Next, Scott joined the firm of Gaines & Gaines, P. A. He eventually partnered with one of that firm’s owners, and they formed founded Gaines Graul, P. A. This new firm focused on personal injury law and criminal defense. Scott took on the role of managing partner and handled all of the firm’s personal injury cases.
After several successful years, the partners of Gaines Graul, P.A. closed the firm due to health issues. At this time, Scott happily accepted a position at Dean Burnetti Law. He is proud to continue his passion negotiating and litigating personal injury cases against the nation’s largest insurance companies and fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves.
Scott and his beautiful wife, Erin, have been married nearly two years, though they’ve been together closer to ten. He enjoys bike riding, swimming, video games, dogs, and fine cuisine.
