FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DEAN BURNETTI LAW ANNOUNCEMENT
LAKELAND, FL, October 11, 2016 – Dean Burnetti Law was saddened to learn of the recent alleged employee theft at Burnetti, P.A.
Last Tuesday, October 4, 2016, both The Ledger and News Chief reported that “A former case manager at ‘the Burnetti law firm’ in Lakeland is facing criminal charges of stealing nearly $100,000.00 from the firm earlier this year.”
While the article mentioned “the Burnetti law firm,” “the Burnetti firm,” and “Burnetti,” several times, it only clarified that the firm involved in the incident was actually “Burnetti, P.A.” and attorney “Doug Burnetti” toward the end of the story. Doug Burnetti’s brother, Dean, wishes to clarify that this incident is not connected to Dean Burnetti or Dean Burnetti Law.
Upon learning of the incident, Dean Burnetti said, “My heart goes out to my brother and his firm, as well as his clients. However, I want to stress to the public that Burnetti, P.A. is not the only ‘Burnetti law firm’ in town. This incident is in no way connected to my law firm or my practice at Dean Burnetti Law. The case manager involved was never an employee of Dean Burnetti Law, and my firm’s clients or potential clients should not be concerned.”
