ANDY BEAN TO APPEAR AT DEAN BURNETTI LAW’S FIRST ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
LAKELAND, FL, June 3, 2016 – Professional golfer Andy Bean has confirmed his attendance at Dean Burnetti Law’s First Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. The tournament will take place on Friday, June 24, 2016, with a 1:00 PM shotgun start at The Club at Eaglebrooke. Proceeds from the event will go to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital’s Bereavement Fund.
Bean attended the University of Florida where he played for the Florida Gators’ Men’s Golf Team from 1972 to 1975. Because of his superior skills, he was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame in 1978. He graduated in 1975 with a degree in marketing. He then started his professional career in 1975 and finished inside the top 35 on the money list from 1977 to 1986. In 1986 and 87, he spent several weeks ranked in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings. He formerly played on the PGA Tour and currently plays on the Champions Tour. Bean has won numerous tournaments at both amateur and professional levels, including eleven PGA Tour and three Champions Tour victories. In 2000, Bean was inducted into the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. He currently resides in Lakeland.
